Samsung Galaxy A23 5G and Samsung Galaxy A14 5G India launch date has been set for January 18. The company has confirmed the launch of Galaxy A23 5G and Galaxy A14 5G handsets via its website and on social media. It has also revealed some of the key specifications of both handsets. The Galaxy A23 5G will sport a 120Hz display with a waterdrop-style notch. Both phones were previously launched by the company in other regions ahead of their debut in the Indian market.

Samsung has announced that it will unveil the Galaxy A23 5G and Galaxy A14 5G handsets in India at a launch event starting at 12 pm (noon) on January 18, via its social media handle. The company has also given customers a sneak peek into the key specifications of the upcoming smartphones. The Galaxy A23 5G will be equipped with a 6.6-inch full-HD+ display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop-style notch.

The handset will also feature optical image stabilisation (OIS) as well as 8GB RAM. The company has also confirmed that the Galaxy A23 5G will come in 5 colour options- dark red, light green, black, silver and light blue. Powering the phone will be an unspecified 5G processor, according to Samsung.

The phone has already been launched in global markets and it is likely to carry the same features as its global variant. The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G runs on Android 12-based One UI 4.1 out-of-the-box. The phone will come in 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM options, and offer 64GB or 128GB of inbuilt storage.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G is said to come with a 6.6-inch full-HD PLS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone was launched earlier this month in the US. The phone features a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup and a 13-megapixel front-facing shooter. Additionally, the handset sports a 6.6-inch (1,080×2,408 pixels) PLS LCD display. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 15W wired charging support.
