Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G were launched as the latest mid-range smartphones from the South Korean brand. Both new models feature Super AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rate and flaunt triple camera units at the rear. The Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G run on Android 13 with a new One UI 5.1 on top and Samsung is promising four generations of OS upgrades and five years of security updates for the new devices. They are backed by 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging support. The two 5G-enabled smartphones are powered by unknown octa-core chipsets. 

Samsung Galaxy A54 5G, Galaxy A34 5G price

The price of the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G is set at EUR 449 (roughly Rs. 40,000) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant has a price tag of EUR 499 (roughly Rs. 44,000). It also comes in 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage configuration. But the pricing of this base model is not available at this moment.

Samsung Galaxy A34 5G price begins at EUR 349 (roughly Rs. 30,800) for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model, while the variant with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage costs EUR 399 (roughly Rs. 35,000). Samsung is yet to announce the pricing of the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model.

The Galaxy A54 5G is offered in four colour options — Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White. The Galaxy A34 5G also comes in Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, and Awesome Violet shades with an additional Awesome Silver finish. Both models will go on sale later this month in different markets.

The new Samsung Galaxy A54 5G runs on Android 13 with One UI 5.1 on top and features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and vision booster support. It is powered by an unknown octa-core SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM.

For optics, the Galaxy A54 5G carries a triple rear camera setup that houses a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) support, along with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter with f/2.2 lens and a 5-megapixel macro shooter with f/2.4 lens. For selfies and video chats, Samsung packed a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front, with an f/2.2 lens. The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G carries 256GB of onboard storage that is expandable via a microSD card of up to 1TB.

The Galaxy A54 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. Though, the supported charger isn’t bundled in the retail box. Besides, it measures 158.2×76.7×8.2mm and weighs 202 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G features the same software specifications as the Galaxy A54 5G. The smartphone features a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and vision booster feature. It is powered by an unnamed octa-core processor, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM.

It also sports a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor with OIS and f/1.8 lens, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and f/2.2 lens, and a 5-megapixel sensor with a macro lens with f/2.4 lens. On the front, it sports a 13-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 lens. The Galaxy A34 5G carries up to 256GB of onboard storage that is expandable via a microSD card of up to 1TB.

The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. It measures 161.3×78.1×8.2mm and weighs 199 grams.
